Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church Volunteers

Raking in the goodness of fall's bounty at Plymouth and Maple Grove!
Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Plymouth had its annual Community Service Day on Saturday, October 23rd. Homeward Bound is one of the lucky organizations to be featured in the churches directory of nonprofit partners!
Two groups visited our homes in Plymouth and Maple Grove. The rain held off, and over 70 bags of leaves were raked and bagged at each house. Quite an impressive feat! And the whole while, the rosy-cheeked volunteers were nothing but smiles and brimming with enthusiasm. Youth also vacuumed and cleaned the van at Maple Grove. Leaves were blown from the gutters at Plymouth.
The volunteers gathered at Plymouth afterward at noon to enjoy cookies and apple cider brewed by Stephanie. She has a special ‘secret’ recipe, that she may be willing to share with you. . .The volunteers were able to visit with the individuals and a visiting family was ecstatic to see all the yard work that was done that morning.
We look forward to upcoming music from the church’s Music Mission program. More exciting details to come!
