Made in the Shade is a non-competitive walk, run and roll event to raise funds for people with developmental disabilities. Register, gather pledges, lace up your athletic shoes, tune up your bike, wheelchair or stroller and join us on Saturday, September 27, at Thomas Beach on Lake Calhoun. You'll receive a t-shirt, snacks and a sandwich lunch. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. with “shotgun starts” at 10:15 and 10:30 a.m. The walk will take place rain or shine-expect a great experience either way!

Made in the Shade helps provide funding for the programs and services of Homeward Bound along with six other metro area providers and programs for children and adults with disabilities.

Ask your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to sponsor you as you help children and adults with disabilities.
